About Ninety Percent
Ninety Percent co-founders Para Hamilton and Shafiq Hassan started out as friends who met back in 1988 during their time as students at the University of Maryland. Despite doing different paths, and a lot of differences between them, they always enjoyed walks- and conversation about John Lennon, David Attenborough, world music and craftsmen.
Para and Shafiq have been friends for decades and have a different point of view on how the world should be. This has allowed them to succeed in the garment industry.
Creating a garment manufacturing facility that puts profit under people and the planet, resulting in the production of some of the best apparel possible.
